Let’s Clear Things Up
What services do you offer?
We provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management and brief psychotherapy.
Do you accept insurance?
We accept a variety of insurance plans. Please contact our office to confirm if we are in-network with your provider.
Do you offer telemedicine appointments?
Yes! We provide virtual visits so you can receive care from the comfort of your home while maintaining the same level of attention as an in-person visit
How do I schedule an appointment?
You can schedule an appointment by calling our office, using our text line (305) 209-1109, or submitting a request through our website.
What should I expect during my first visit?
Your initial evaluation will include a detailed discussion of your symptoms, history, and concerns. Based on this assessment, we will develop a treatment plan that may include medication, therapy, or both.
Will I be prescribed medication during my first visit?
Medication is only prescribed when clinically appropriate. After a thorough evaluation, we will discuss whether medication is a good option for you.
How often will I need follow-up visits for medication management?
Follow-ups are typically scheduled every few weeks at the start of treatment to monitor your response and adjust medication if needed. Once stabilized, appointments may be less frequent.
Do you prescribe controlled medications for conditions like ADHD or anxiety?
Yes, but only when clinically necessary. We follow strict evidence-based guidelines to ensure safe prescribing practices.
Do you offer therapy without medication management?
We offer brief psychotherapy as part of our treatment approach. However, for more extensive, individualized therapy without medication management, we can provide referrals to trusted therapy providers who specialize in ongoing therapeutic support.
What is your cancellation policy?
We require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling to avoid a late cancellation fee of $50 dollars.
What should I bring to my first appointment?
Please bring a photo ID, insurance card, a list of current medications, and any relevant medical or psychiatric records.
Do you treat children and adolescents?
Not yet! Currently we oer psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and therapy for adults ages 18-65.
How do I request a medication refill?
Please request refills at least 3 business days in advance through our patient portal or by calling our office.
Is everything I share confidential?
Yes, your privacy is a priority. We follow HIPAA regulations to protect your health information. The only exceptions involve concerns about safety (harm to yourself or others) or legal requirements.
